Hello again.
One question for you all this week: where's this year gone? November the 1st already... wow.
Couple of things to mention this week, namely swimming and our class assembly.
Swimming begins next Monday 09/11 for all class members, including Years 3 and 4 at the same time, over the same 2 week period. This was decided with a view to to minimising disruption to the class.
Assembly is Wednesday of Week 9, so very late in the year. I am happy to tell you that you do not have to come up with any elaborate outfits for the kids. I am hoping to borrow some lab coats from somewhere as the theme is science. What I would like you to source, if you can, is a "crazy hair" wig so that our class look like mad scientists.
Library day is Tuesday, as always.
Homework this week is up and running; Mathletics activities have been set and the spelling list can be found at the bottom of the spelling page of this website as usual.
This week's spelling activity: sounds and syllables. Remember, sounds twice if there is only one syllable!
Have a great week,
Mr Bennett
