Hello,
This will be my last blog post for 2015.
There will be no homework in week 10. This is because students are beginning to wind down and many children are away in the final week of term.
I just wanted to say thank you to all parents for what has been, in my opinion, a successful academic year. Test results have shown that students have made good progress in their reading and spelling as well as all other academic areas. I have seen each student move forward in terms of their social relationships and personal conduct. These are the kinds of things any teacher gets into the job for and it's been gratifying on a personal and professional level to see students make progress this year.
There are too many parents to thank personally for all the things that you all have helped me with throughout the course of the year. In this I include reading in the mornings, coming on excursions, coming to meetings so that we can discuss your child's progress, preparing your child for the class assembly; I could go on, there are so many things that you have done to support first your child, then me as the teacher.
Thanks so much for everything. I wish you and your child all the best for the coming academic years at Landsdale Primary School.
Regards,
Matt Bennett Year 3/4 Teacher Landsdale Primary School
